Let's Talk Flowers
Flowers for some can be the most important element in their weddings plans and others not so much.
Determine how important flowers are to you and what flowers you must have....
Visit with a few Florists, you may be surprised at how much estimates can vary....
Think in season, if you try to be flexible with your flower selection, ask your florist what is in season, this is a great way to save using in season flowers.
Planning your wedding around Holidays......Most Churches and Venues have Flowers on location for Holiday Seasons like Christmas, Easter...
Don't be afraid to see if there is a wedding before or after yours, being able to split the cost of Ceremony decor has become more popular. Also being able to use Ceremony Flowers at your Venue for decor is also a great way to save by having the flowers do "Double Duty". Please make sure this is an option as some Ceremony locations require the flowers must stay on location.
Non Traditional Florists - Supermarkets - Some cringe at that thought of using a supermarket chain for there wedding flowers. The Bottom line is I have seen it done, it is defiantly an option, your flowers may not have as much WOW as going to an actual Florist but this is an affordable option!
DIY Flowers is always the last dreaded option, some buy in bulk and make arrangements themselves or have a crafty family member take on the chore. This is however not an option I recommend, I have seen too many people have there bulk flowers arrive dead or wilted.
